This handsome duo features a deck of 22 cards of the major Arcana of the Tarot, and the accompanying 150-page guide, designed, written and illustrated by Nina Bunjevac. The content reflects the author’s lifelong interest in the Tarot, Alchemy, and the esoteric philosophy, particularly the teachings of Rudolf Steiner and G. I. Gurdjieff, which inevitably lead to the exploration of the ideas of C. G. Jung, Joseph Campbell, Marie Louise von Franz and James Hillman. These cards are not meant to foretell future, but encourage introspection, and offer gentle nudges toward one’s psychic interior. In addition to the richly illustrated card descriptions, the book also offers a personable afterword, and a list of books the reader can take away, should they decide to further pursue the studies in these subjects.
